Evolution of music
|Although there are many different genres and singers and songwriters. We can admit that music has changed throughout the years.
The earliest music is said to be a melody found in 1400 B.C. called “Hurrian Hymn.” Hurrian’s are music notes that are written into clay tablets. The melodies had no lyrics and were just a tune.
The oldest song with lyrics however, comes from a musician in Ancient Greece named “Seikilos” from 200 B.C. written about his late wife.
Fast forward to the 1700s, where most music was just harmonies and rhythms from violins and strings instruments.
The same goes for the 1800s, but people start singing more. Finally, in the 1900s, more singers started coming with different types of music. That’s when R&B, Indie, Rock, etc.
genres started becoming popular and there were more varieties of music. Now, there are endless choices of music that you could choose from. Before, you would have to be at a live audience to listen to music. But now, you can listen to it however and whenever you would like.
There are so many musicians and producers and news sources where you can learn if there’s any new music coming, or and music news just in general. Music serves a big part of our lives. It’s everywhere.
There’s music for each and every of your emotions and music can have a big impact in your life. Music creates so many dances, trends, and are even a big part of some movies and musicals.
