Sustainable Development

Sustainable Development has been a global agenda for development Goals. The development comes from the roots of society. Development is a subjective thing.

It is economic growth has been used with other terms such as development, modernization, westernization, and industrialization. Furthermore, sustainable development is the development that meets the requirements of the existing, without assigning the capability of future generations to meeting their wants. The concept of sustainable development can be understood in many different ways, but at its main is an approach to development that appearances to balance different, and often competing, needs against an awareness of the environmental, social, and economic limitations we face as a society day today.

In the context of Nepal, proper distribution is the main part to build the nation. Those who do not have skills in their hand should be supplied a skill which is useful for their livelihood. If the level of poverty upswings, we can say that the nation is evolving in the economic order. It means excluded people elevation their level which they are partaking the economic growth. The real taste of economic growth is to be touched by the poor; otherwise, the growth of economic order will appear meaningless.

A growing economy like Nepal is hungry for energy. Hydropower, road & tourism are the main components to build the nation. Nepal has irreplaceable assets for development. Hydro is a practical source of energy. Well-planned hydropower projects can contribute to supply sustainable energy. Hydropower can be used to power machinery or to generate electricity or both at the same time. It has low operating and maintenance costs. Hydropower supplies a trustworthy, proficient, safe, and economic source of power for increasing effectiveness to build the nation. We must create empowerment by increasing the production & distribution in transparent order. The literacy rate Of Nepal is nearly 69.9%. Youth who are forced to go to the gulf countries to provide their families with simple basic needs. Youth who is missing Nepal in number 1500 hundred daily are unskilled.
As a result, they must work in the field of the unsafe site in Gulf countries. It is understood that youth know the positioning of the task, but they are suppressed to work without hesitation & unwillingness. So, therefore, the government should do stop the youth from leaving our country. The government should generate the opportunity by prolonging the production & employment on the behalf of the youth. We must enlarge the agricultural sector by linking it’s with tourism. To the expansion of agronomic products in mega-scale the fundamental infrastructure must be improved along with.

Agriculture is a very important sector of the Nepalese economy. Nepal would supply itself to the cultivation of high-value agricultural products which we can export to India & China and many more countries. To grow more products in the agricultural sector the government should distribute subsidy in their basic cost. Most of the farming land is understood unembellished land. To fertile on the naked land government should subsidize their cost because of the cost of the agricultural sector more expansive than they invest. The government should play a mediator role between the land possessor & farmer. If the government does not support farmers to cultivate, they will go in loss. If the government supports the farmer at a minimal cost, it does support to maximize the agricultural production that helps to create an opportunity for employment. So, therefore, the government is to be an assistant to promote them. After maximizing the agronomic product, the cost will decline. Then we can compete with India in pricing. The price of the product is determined by the government and the market is also is determined by the government as per the demand & supply. If the government does not play a specific role in pricing the business does not appear on the behalf of the consumer & producer. For the settlement of mega-production, the government should manage the cold storage & refining industry on a large scale at the proper center. As a result, the price of production goods arises at a reasonable rate to the customer as well as the farmer. It helps to upkeep the balance of payment of the country and appears on the behalf of the nation as the result the rate of youth going on gulf country will make debility. Gradually the crises of unemployment position also go downward. After the profit on mega-production through the farming sector then we must invest in the sector of micro-industry or cottage industry by enabling small entrepreneurs.

Along with we must empower the field of tourism linking to agriculture by supplying quality service & friendly behavior. The number of tourists by the purpose of the visit is a major indicator of tourism sector output. Nepal is famous for adventure tourism due to its prominent mountaintops. If we enable to promote the tourism the rate of employment order will improve that we expected. The government should involve the private sector to invest and reform in the productive sector efficiently. Without backup to the private sector, we will not generate enough jobs and we will not carry enough dynamism and constancy to the societies that need to be enhanced with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The government should play a compassionate role to the private sector at their problematic task and stand up at their proper investment & minimize the risk. Moreover, the Private sector should appear to invest as per the need of the government which supports to bust up the nation on the sound economy. The government should supply the innovative policy as well as good governs then the nation able to grave economic growth in a proper channel. The other important part to build a nation is a road.

Tourism Electricity/ Hydropower Road

To enlarge our trade, tourism, electricity & road is basic components. These three components are correlated between each & other for the emerging of the nation. Tourism is the largest generator of well-being and employment in the world and an engine for economic development. An increase in tourism activities comes with an increased demand for energy within various functions; the importance of energy for the tourism sector is incontrovertible as well as road. If there is poor management of road & electricity, we do not expand our trade & services as per our need.
Tourism is an important sector in the world economy. Because the millions of tourists travel to different areas, international tourist arrivals affect the income level of countries. Nepal is one of the best tourist destinations to spend the holidays.
The world is a small village now due to the development of high technology. That makes people easy to travel all over the world. But the difficult part of the travel is selecting the best tourist destinations. Travel is also a way to spend money that we collect from the hard work for enjoyment and relaxation. Different people have different interests and hobbies. Some people like comfortable trekking and tour; some like adventure sports and activities and some like climbing upon the rock, peak, and mountains. Some tourists are interested in the volunteer and study tour. Nepal is one of the most destinations in the world where that meets the various interests of the tourists.

Roads make an important contribution to economic development and growth and bring important social benefits.
Besides, supplying access to employment, social, health, and education services make a road network vital in fighting against poverty. Roads open more areas and stimulate economic and social development.

Roads are the pulses of the economy. It links producers to markets, workers to jobs, students to school, and the sick to hospitals, roads play a vital role to make sustainable development. Roads bring economic and social benefits. No road no link.

The Chinese government has given high priority to building roads, particularly high-quality roads that connect industrial centers. China wants to link to the world by expanding the road. China’s Belt and Road Initiative (also known as One Belt, One Road (OBOR)) which ambitious is grownup the foreign and economic policies and to strengthen economic leadership through a vast program of infrastructure building throughout China’s neighboring regions.
The road is a line of communication. It connects the various parts of mechanisms that are essential to building a nation. Roads supply access to the outside world. So, therefore, the road is the milestone to build a nation. Roads can produce to market and children to school. Roads support to poverty reduction and economic growth, agricultural growth, urban growth, urban poverty reduction, and rural poverty reduction.
China & India is our neighboring country. Both are evolving aggressively in economic growth by applying maximum resources and manpower. We can get maximum benefit from both country China & India applying their technique & strategy or tools of the economy.
We are depending on India for many more reasons & costs. More than 90% of trade function relates to India. We are enough rich in electricity. After the BIMSTEC summit in Nepal, Member of BIMSTEC (The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectorial Technical and Economic Cooperation) is suppressed to trade of electricity among the BIMSTEC countries without restriction & barrier.
We must intricate the hydropower position in Nepal. We should enable the position of the hydropower at any cost. By selling our electricity energy at a reasonable cost to Bangladesh, India as well as Bhutan can sustain in the sector of electricity energy. Facilitating the road to China through rail will help to expand our trade and services. It helps to export & import of our product & services Between China & Nepal. Moreover, our trade & services will upkeep afterward the rate of employment position will increase, and trade will favorable to us. As a result, the dependency rate will decrease to India then we can promote efficiency and enhances the quality of life. We can able sustain because sustainable development is to balance our economic, environmental, and social needs, allowing prosperity for now and our future generations. For sustainable development, it is the most obligatory linking hydropower, tourism & road. So, therefore, sustainable development ties together concern for the carrying ability of natural systems with the social, political, and economic challenges faced by humanity.
